Something a bit different. My handprint out of acrylic paint, drawn over top with a black fineliner pen, creating shapes of trees and subtle faces. I have enjoyed making these four images, I find them calming and intriguing.
I felt inspired to paint a landscape with the Scottish Highlands and Iceland in mind.
Inspiration for this painting is from birch trees. I made it into an abstract landscape. If you tilt your head to the left and look at the image on it’s side, it represents the trunk of the birch tree with markings and the small trees represent branches.
Inspiration from my travels in Hoi An, Vietnam. There were beautifully coloured lanterns everywhere to celebrate the New Year.
The inspiration for this painting was to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. All proceed of sale were donated to ‘Poppy Scotland’.
