...thanks for visiting my website. I am Melissa O'Gorman, an Australian who has been living in Dunfermline, Scotland for several years now. My passion for painting got renewed a few years ago using acrylics to create landscapes and abstracts. I have explored and experimented with other mediums to create different effects and textures. I love photographing landscapes and images, especially from my travels. I hope you enjoy browsing through my paintings and pictures. If you are interested in purchasing, please contact me.

I was guided by the textured marks I randomly put on the canvas to create this image. I like the subtlety of colours coming through the dark grey shadows.

This original painting will be for sale in the Dunfermline Art Club Exhibition, 26 June – 5 July 2017 in the Kingsgate.

Something a bit different.  My handprint out of acrylic paint, drawn over top with a black fineliner pen, creating shapes of trees and subtle faces.  I have enjoyed making these four images, I find them calming and intriguing.
